The Suncatcher Gift Shop is located in the main lobby and offers a variety of affordable gifts, baby gifts, cards, silk flower arrangements, and hand crafted items. The shop also carries "mock crocs" and scrubs for employees.

Gift shop hours: Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm; and Saturday and Sundays subject to volunteer availability.

The shop is staffed and managed by our volunteers to raise funds for the benefit of patient care and services, and scholarships. Last year the volunteers donated over $30,000 back for patient care and scholarships.

Pictured at left: Volunteers contribute their time in the hospital in various different capacities and departments. Our hospital volunteers choose where they want to work and how often. Volunteer opportunities are available in many of the departments in the Hospital and also at Merriman House, a 45 bed Nursing Home Facility. Monthly meetings on the second Monday of the month feature guest speakers and an opportunity to exchange ideas. The meetings are held in the Sun Room at 1pm; visitors are always welcome. The volunteers do not meet in July or August.

MEDICARE ASSISTANCE: Available every first Wednesday afternoon of the month at the hospital, and every Thursday afternoon at the Gibson Center for Senior Services. Specially trained volunteers help with explanations of bills and other Medicare coverage issues. Free and confidential. APPOINTMENTS for Wednesdays at the hospital are recommended.
